"Let's pack this thing up and take it out on the road," was my mentality in the summer of 2019. As I prepared to make my move from Pennsylvania to Portland, Oregon, I found myself wanting all the music I was playing with me in my suitcase. I wanted something that represented my roots, something that reminded me of where I came from. At that time, our band "Mason / Wilson Line" was truly connecting on many levels. For the first time, I had felt like the band was 'playing' the song... or perhaps even, the song was playing them. We did exactly what the songwriting beckoned and that was exactly what I wanted with me in my suitcase.

We went to our friend, Devin Marshall's home studio and with swift ease, recorded what was to be the debut album for "Mason / Wilson Line." As the group disbanded and moved onto our next endeavors, I was able to harvest these three songs of mine from that recording session.

At that time for me, it felt as if we were at a pinnacle of our musicianship. Expressing our own interconnected stylings that we've subconsciously cultivated over years of playing together. I am so grateful to have these recordings to so truly reflect the music we were feeling. A very special thank you to my friends and bandmates, Mason / Wilson Line.
